Last month, we strengthened the Sales team with the arrival of two experienced men. Laurent Delroise (46; left) takes over from Bernard Verriele and as Sales Manager will focus on advice and sales of Fischbein products in the north and east of France. Laurent has been active in the packaging industry for 20 years, the last 10 of which with his own company.

Francisco Fernández Lee (40) is Sales Manager Spain and will give a boost to the marketing of the products and solutions of Fischbein and Votech. He comes from Piab and has a specialism in maintenance technology.

On May 1,  started in the position of Head of Production & Supply Chain in our Reusel location.

“My tasks and responsibilities will be to manage and improve these two departments. A great challenge, which I start with a lot of energy. Besides managing these departments, I am also part of the management team. We are currently working on a number of interesting projects. One of them is the implementation of a new ERP system. This will help us streamline the processes so that we can work even more efficiently. Also, we are doubling the production space by building a new hall, which will allow us to build and test more production lines simultaneously.”

Last week it was still a stony plain, now there are already recognizable outlines of a building. We are working hard on our second building in Reusel. It is rising almost immediately next to the current one and will double the available space. This will enable us to pursue intensive collaboration with Fischbein, the sister company in the Duravant group to which we are most directly related. Our joint mission: more beautiful packaging projects for customers throughout Europe.

Last week we delivered to the full satisfaction of our customer a complete packaging line with bagging machine, palletizer and stretch hooder to bag various types of grains, seeds and pulses!

We designed this stretchhooder for our client because he has several packaging lines where different types of pallets are handled.
You can imagine that a small Düsseldorf pallet needs a smaller film than a large block pallet.
Our stretchhooder is designed to scan the pallet for height and dimensions before it enters the stretchhooder.
It then automatically knows which film size to choose in order to provide the pallet with the correct cover.
It is also possible to cover two Düsseldorf pallets separately, after which they can be fed back into the stretchhooder automatically and can be hooded as a pair.

Last week we started with the installation of a complete turn-key project for the peat industry.

For this project we are taking care of:
– The product supply to the packaging machines
– The packaging machines for the potting soil
– Palletising of the filled bags
– Covering the stacked pallets and bales by stretchhooder
– The automatic infeed and outfeed of pallets

Our customer faced the problem that his space was limited and his customers wanted to pack products in both tubular film bags and open mouth bags.

We discussed the problem with our customer and looked at the possibilities.

We designed a multifunctional bag filling machine that can process both types of bags on one machine.

We equipped these two bag filling machines with a servo driven vertical dosing screw so that dosing can be done very accurately and the dust formation around the filling point is nil.

The empty bag is placed around the vertical dosing screw by means of a bag clamp.
After this, the vertical dosing screw starts filling the bag and the bag will move downwards as the level in the bag increases.
As a result, there is no falling force of the powder and dust forming is nil.

The vertical dosing screws are also easy to clean to prevent mixing of different products.
